Resolution #2010/2011-17 College and Career Readiness for All
On November 18, 2010, the East Side Union High School District Board of Trustees adopted Resolution #2010/2011-17 College and Career Readiness for All. The Resolution makes a-g college requirements as the default placement for 9th and 10th grade students, unless otherwise state in an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Also, the Resolution memorializes the District's commitment to providing a rigorous academic curriculum and support that prepares students for postsecondary educational and career options.

The Subject Requirement, more commonly referred to as the “A-G” subject
requirements, is one of three requirements needed to enter UC as a
freshman. Specifically, students must complete a pattern of 15
college-preparatory courses drawn from the areas of History/Social
Science, English, Math, Lab Science, a language other than English, the
Visual and Performing Arts and the college-preparatory elective. (click here to read more)
