Pathway to an American University
East Side Union High School District & San Jose City College Pathway Program
Participate in the East Side International Student College Pathway Program and continue your success in America
The East Side International Student Pathway Program for incoming seniors is a collaboration between East Side Union High School District (ESUHSD) and San Jose City College (SJCC) with the goal of offering guaranteed admission to qualified International students.
After one year of study at ESUHSD as a high school senior, international students are granted admission and transfer to SJCC for the first 2 years of high quality undergraduate study. After SJCC, students may be eligible to transfer to one of California’s Premier 4-year universities such as UC Berkeley, UCLA, Stanford, San Francisco State, San Jose State, and many others!
The benefits of the pathway program:
- Unique opportunity to automatically transfer to SJCC after High School if the international student meet all requirements
- Strong foundation for students to transfer to a four-year University
- Many Universities offer higher admission priority to students applying from Community College than from high school
- Continue your college studies in America
