Alternative Education SchoolsTop of Page

Alternative Education is an option for students who are not finding success in the traditional high school. Students enrolled in alternative education include students that: have adjustment problems; are seriously down credits; have parental responsibilities; or have special needs or must work. Alternative Education offers a flexible environment that provides an opportunity for these students to be successful. Each of the Continuation High Schools and Independent Study have a broad-based curriculum that includes personalized instruction, work experience, vocational classes, counseling, service learning and varied delivery systems.
