Bullying Prevention Resources for Students Who Identify or Are Perceived as NeurodivergentTop of Page
East Side Union High School District is committed to providing equitable educational opportunities for all students. In accordance with California Senate Bill 939 (SB 939), the District is dedicated to fostering inclusive learning environments where neurodivergent students are valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
SB 939 promotes greater awareness and understanding of neurodiversity while encouraging schools to reduce barriers to learning and create educational environments where every student can thrive. Neurodivergent students may include those with autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, Tourette syndrome, and other neurological differences.

As part of California's implementation of SB 939, families, educators, and community members are encouraged to explore Standing Together, a free collection of evidence-based resources designed to increase understanding of neurodiversity, promote inclusion, address bullying, and support positive school communities.
The Standing Together Resource Hub includes videos, learning modules, practical tools, and family resources that help create welcoming and supportive environments for neurodivergent students.
