Overview

GOAL AND PURPOSE

GOAL AND PURPOSETop of Page

Our goal is to ensure that every student learns the skills and information they need to be well educated and productive citizens with multiple life opportunities. The purpose of testing is to ensure that all students are meeting grade level standards and to monitor our efforts in reaching that goal.
Student achievement results are housed in a central data system, DATA DIRECTOR, which allows each teacher web access to their students' data. The  DATA DIRECTOR system also allows administrators to monitor school wide and district wide performance over time.

What is assessment?
Assessment is a way to measure what students are learning. All school districts are responsible to administer assessments on three different levels- national, state, and district levels . This allows students, teachers, and parents the opportunity to monitor the academic achievements of our students both locally and in comparison to the rest of the nation.
