| | It is the intent of your professional development office to promote educational research on best practices being conducted by our colleagues in and out of the classroom, and to create a process for disseminating lessons and strategies that support academic achievement for all students. Below is one of many opportunities coming your way:

School Plus/Impact II Mini Grant
Mini-grants up to $550 are available for individual teachers or teacher teams who wish to develop innovative and creative classroom lessons that they are willing to share with other teachers.

Teacher Innovation Grants
The San Jose Education Foundation is providing grants for teachers to create "memorable, interactive and enhanced learning experiences for their students." Many of our teachers at East Side have been recipients of this grant.
Grants of up to $500 ($750 - $1,000 for a Collaborative Grant)
