Jerry Kurr
Associate Superintendent of Business Services and Administration
| | Jerry Kurr has been with the East Union High School District since December 2005. He has over 35 years of experience in education, specifically in the area of Business Services. He has previously worked for four other public school agencies in California and was a consultant with a Southern California Certified Public Accounting firm that specialized in public school business.
He was one of the main authors of the California School Cost Accounting system, which has been used over 30 years. He created and helped legislators put into law the AB1200 process.
Mr. Kurr attended Cal Poly Technical State University, where he earned a B.S. Degree in Business Management. He earned an M.S. Degree in School Business Management at Pepperdine University.
He is a Naval Veteran of the Vietnam era and has experience in nearly all of the Trades. Mr. Kurr and his wife have owned and operated a commercial retail trade business. His first salaried jobs were in the sales and banking industries.
